Research indicates 1 in 4 experience mental health issues in Ireland. It is estimated to be 1 in 2 amongst Care Professionals . The High Levels of Stress and Trauma experienced by our Health & Care Workers needs to be acknowledged.
Mental Health stigma is reality for many care workers, especially because of their challenging roles supporting the most vulnerable individuals in society.
One of CNI's main focus is eliminating mental health stigma in this sector.
Existing supports are limited, not devised in collaboration with care workers and awkward to experience .
